The operation has approximately 570 employees with about 80 specialist physicians and approximately 30 resident physicians. The specialist physicians are divided into three sections (the Intensive Care Section, the Section for Special Operations, and the Section for Perioperative Medicine) that are closely interconnected within a comprehensive training program and a shared on-call system.\nA total of 40 operating rooms are distributed across eight surgical departments. We have a shared preoperative clinic, three postoperative units, including one Pediatric Recovery Unit and a postoperative intensive care unit (PIVA), as well as two intensive care units (CIVA\/NIVA).
