Here, physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, and paramedical professionals work together around the patient's needs.\nSince 2023, our inpatient care has been part of the National Highly Specialized Care, NHV, for spinal cord injuries. We have 57 care beds, comprehensive day rehabilitation, and responsibility for lifelong follow-up of approximately 1,500 patients in the Stockholm area.\nIn January 2027, we plan to open a specialized neurology outpatient clinic for diagnosis and treatment in general neurology by referral. This means you'll be entering an exciting phase where you can help shape work methods, routines, and collaboration from the beginning.\nWe're located in Fr\u00f6sundavik near Hagaparken, with easy access to public transport and nature.\nThe Role\nAs a specialist physician in neurology, you'll see patients at our new outpatient clinic and contribute to safe diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. You'll use your specialist expertise in your daily work while helping to develop the clinic.\nThe role includes, among other things:\n\nworking with outpatient visits in specialized neurology\n\n\nensuring diagnosis and treatment according to current guidelines and recommendations\n\n\nsupporting colleagues with questions about neurological conditions\n\n\ncontributing to knowledge sharing and competence development\n\n\ndeveloping routines and work methods together with the team.\n\n\nThere is an opportunity to rotate between outpatient and inpatient care, as well as to participate in on-call duties.\nYou'll be part of a physician group with eleven colleagues and high specialist expertise. We also have local research, development, education, and innovation (FOUU), and close collaboration with Karolinska.
