We are now seeking an engaged special education teacher who wants to contribute to a safe, inclusive, and developmental school environment in our adapted primary school.\n\nResponsibilities\nAs a special education teacher, you will be part of a team working with students who need adaptations and special support. The number of students and grade levels varies based on current needs.\nYou will work to create an inclusive and safe learning environment where students are given the conditions to develop as far as possible. Students should, to the extent possible and based on individual needs, participate in instruction in regular classes, which occurs in close collaboration with teaching staff and other colleagues.\n\nIn this role, you will:\nPlan, implement, and adapt instruction based on students' individual needs.\nCreate a safe, inclusive, and developmental learning environment.\nStrengthen students' independence, participation, and confidence in their own abilities.\nCollaborate with teachers and other colleagues to give students the best possible conditions to develop.\n\nAs a special education teacher, you are also a support for colleagues through mentoring and collaboration. You actively participate in developing instruction and operations, conduct assessments together with other staff, and collaborate with guardians and external agencies. In this role, you also contribute to the school's continued development work and collaborative learning.\n\nQualifications\nWe are looking for you who are trained as a special education teacher with specialization in intellectual disabilities and who have experience working in adapted primary school.\nYou are confident in your professional role and have an inclusive and solution-focused approach.
