With us you'll have a varied role where you combine direct student work with mentoring and support for colleagues.\n\nAn important part of the assignment is work with our Focus\/Flex group. You will work closely with students and provide some instruction, but also have a central role in mentoring and supporting teachers regarding classroom management, accommodations, pedagogical strategies, and learning environments.\n\nYour duties include:\n\n\u2022 working with students individually and in small groups\n\u2022 being part of the Focus\/Flex group work\n\u2022 mentoring and guiding teachers and other educational staff\n\u2022 contributing special education expertise regarding accommodations and special support\n\u2022 developing teaching and learning environments together with colleagues\n\u2022 collaborating closely with Student Support services and following up on student interventions\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nWe are looking for someone who is trained as a special education teacher and who has a genuine interest in creating good conditions for students to succeed. You are confident in working with students and have a talent for building trusting relationships. At the same time, you are unpretentious, receptive, and enjoy sharing your expertise and developing together with others.\n\nExperience working with and teaching students with neuropsychiatric conditions and teaching Swedish as a second language (SVA) is particularly valued.
