We are a school with a strong focus on continuous improvement and development on our journey toward the school of the future.\nAbout the Position\nIn your role as a special education teacher here at Hanvikens School, you are a member of the student support team together with another special education teacher, social worker, school nurse, school psychologist, assistant principal, and principal. The student support team meets every week. Within student support, we have close collaboration between our different professions and staff members on the unit and in the municipality. Within the municipality, there are also good opportunities to utilize central student support services and their functions for, for example, mentoring and external observations, etc.\nAs a special education teacher, you work from a holistic perspective while demonstrating good understanding of student learning and development.\nThis is a permanent position starting in January 2027. The position can be assumed earlier if there is interest and opportunity.\nWho Are You?\nWe are now looking for you, a knowledgeable, experienced, and dedicated special education teacher who wants to work with our students from preschool class through and including grade 6.\nYou are courageous, flexible, and driven while always keeping the student's best interests in focus. You have experience in creating and following up on educational assessments (investigation of a student's need for special support) as well as intervention plans.\nWe are looking for someone who wants to be an active part of ensuring all students receive the right support at the right time.
