Within the preschool, we work together to create safe, inclusive, and developmental learning environments where every child has the opportunity to succeed based on their individual abilities.\nThe work includes\nAs a special education teacher, you will have an important role in preventive and promotional work to develop the preschool's learning environments and create favorable conditions for all children.\nYou work together with another special education teacher serving our nine preschools and are present to support both children and educators in daily pedagogical activities.\nThe assignment includes, among other things:\nproviding educators with practical support in special education matters\ncoaching and being a dialogue partner for educators in working with children in need of support\nconducting pedagogical assessments\nproviding support in establishing, monitoring, and evaluating action plans and support measures\nworking closely with children and educators in pedagogical activities\ncooperating with guardians and other professionals, such as child health services, speech therapists, rehabilitation services, and early intervention teams\ncontributing to a smooth transition for children in need of support when they leave preschool for preschool class\ntogether with principals, special education colleagues, and educators, driving operational development and systematic quality work.\n\nYou will also become part of a central network with other special education teachers within the Children and Education Department, which provides opportunities for collegial learning, experience sharing, and joint development.\nWho are you?\nWe are looking for someone who is trained as a special education teacher and confident in your profession. You are responsive, clear, and unpretentious, and have an easy way of building good relationships and trust. You enjoy collaborating with educators, principals, guardians, and other professionals and want to contribute to the development of the preschool's pedagogical activities.\nYou have the ability to independently plan, structure, and follow up on your work and to apply special education knowledge to concrete support in the pedagogical daily routine.
