In addition, you will also work practically providing support interventions to students and teaching individually, in groups, and in regular instructional settings.\nIn your role as a special education teacher, you will work together with teachers and student welfare staff to provide students with the guidance and stimulation they need in their learning and personal development. This is so they can develop as far as possible according to education goals, based on their own circumstances. In your work, you are expected to, among other things, suggest interventions and adjustments for students in need and participate in creating assessments and intervention plans as well as follow-up and evaluation of these. The role also includes teaching small groups and providing individual support to students. You will work closely with the assistant principal, teachers, and other teaching staff in the middle grades and grade 7.\nYou will be part of the school's student welfare system and participate in preventative and health-promoting work so that all students at the school receive adequate support.
