Our instruction focuses on language and communication. The goal is for students to gain the conditions to reach knowledge objectives, be active and involved in various social contexts, and develop as individuals.\n\nH\u00e4llsboskolan M\u00e4larh\u00f6jden welcomes students with severe language disorders and operates at two school locations in Stockholm, one in M\u00e4larh\u00f6jden and one in S\u00f6dermalm. The school recently established a new branch and is entering an exciting development phase. For the 2027\/2028 school year, both school units will move to new, modern facilities in R\u00f6nninge in Salem Municipality. At the same time, the operations will gradually expand with classes up to grade 10.\n\nAll our schools offer after-school activities. With us, you have the opportunity to make a difference in a specialized operation where student learning and wellbeing are at the center.\n\n1 position(s).\n\nJOB DUTIES\nAs a special education specialist at H\u00e4llsboskolan M\u00e4larh\u00f6jden branch in S\u00f6dermalm in Stockholm and later at H\u00e4llsboskolan R\u00f6nninge in Salem Municipality, you work to create the best possible conditions for students' learning, health, and development. You contribute your special education expertise in preventive and promotional work as well as in the school's systematic quality work.\n\nThe assignment includes conducting pedagogical assessments, identifying students' need for special support, and planning, implementing, and following up interventions at the individual, group, and organizational levels. You also work with instruction and support measures within the framework of special support, both individually and in groups.\n\nAn important part of the position is to mentor and support teachers and other staff on special education issues and to plan and implement collaborative learning initiatives. You work closely with student health services, school leadership, and other professionals to ensure an accessible learning environment where students with severe language disorders are given the conditions to progress as far as possible in their knowledge development.\n\nWe are looking for someone with strong commitment to students in need of special support, good collaborative skills, and a solution-focused approach.
