Working as a language pedagogue at one of our 15 primary schools that have language pedagogue positions is part of this initiative.\nAs a language pedagogue, you will work collaboratively to develop instruction in preschool class, Grade 1, and after-school care, with work based on the school's needs and student results. You will work from a centrally developed job description and develop your school-specific assignment together with the principal. Your work will include leading and supporting collegial development processes based on research and proven experience to increase the school unit's expertise in language, reading, and writing development. You will also support students in preschool class and Grade 1 at the group level in their language, reading, and writing development and work with the teaching team on targeted interventions.
