We're looking for someone who wants to get to know, understand, and be part of another person's life.\n\nYour role\nAs a support assistant, you work based on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life using a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff members, you work toward making each day meaningful and enriching. You support and guide with personal care, meals, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is stimulating and motivating residents to develop their abilities and creating opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans.\n\nAbout H\u00f6g\u00e5s Short-Term Services\nOur short-term residential facility, H\u00f6g\u00e5s, is located in a rural setting between Vagnh\u00e4rad and Gnesta with many opportunities for activity and relaxation. We serve participants with high-functioning autism between 7 and 21 years old. Short-term stays occur on weekends and school holidays. Groups at the facility are divided by age and interests. Since H\u00f6g\u00e5s is a rural facility, it is necessary that you have a driver's license and are comfortable driving.\n\nWe work based on Nytida's pedagogical framework, which means an individual-centered approach based on low-arousal interaction and explicit pedagogy.\n\nAt Nytida's short-term facility, we want a good balance between fun activities and relaxation time. We would like to see that you have an interest in motivating participants to engage in activities in the nearby natural areas.\n\nOur facilities include rooms for crafts and creative activities, movie watching and video games. Outdoors we have a large lawn with opportunities for activities, and proximity to a lake where fishing and swimming are possible.\n\nYour experience and knowledge\nWe believe that you who apply to us:\n\u2022 have a positive outlook and strong commitment to people\n\u2022 are responsible and have personal maturity\n\u2022 enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues\n\nYou have at least upper secondary education in care and support or equivalent training. Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing is required, but otherwise your CV is not the most important thing.
