We prefer candidates who are experienced in working with individuals displaying challenging behavior.\nThe role of support assistant involves supporting and being present for our residents in their daily lives. All staff have the responsibility to create conditions for providing support, assistance, and structure in everyday activities. Your role also includes developing implementation plans, establishing and updating work descriptions, and contributing to maintaining good quality in operations. The work includes delegated nursing tasks and social documentation. You will also collaborate with legal guardians, family members, and licensed health and social care personnel.\nThe goal is to provide each resident with a predictable daily life where dignity is self-evident. We work with clear routines to create structure and security for our residents. Working hours are scheduled for the overnight shift, and you will be one of two support assistants working the awake night shift.\n\nAbout you\nWe are looking for someone with a degree from the Health and Care Program, Support Assistant training, or Children and Leisure Program with a focus on social or pedagogical work. The education requirement is also met if you have post-secondary specialization within the disability field comprising at least 200 yh-credits, 120 higher education credits, or a combination of these equivalent to at least four full-time semesters of study. Alternatively, 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with disabilities. The education must include relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education that the employer deems equivalent.\nYou have passing grades in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1. If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1, you may be offered a language test through Educateit.\nMultiple years of experience working with the autism target group is a requirement for this position.
