Respectful treatment and the individual's needs, wishes, and participation are always at the center.\n\n1 position(s).\n\nWORK TASKS\nAs a support pedagogue, you work closely with the individual and provide customized support based on needs, conditions, and wishes. You plan, implement, and follow up on interventions and establish implementation plans together with the individual. Through a pedagogical and evidence-based approach, you work to strengthen the individual's participation, independence, and social abilities, including through ADL training and physical activity. The role also includes care tasks and delegated health and medical care tasks.\n\nYou are a contact person and have special responsibility for coordinating and following up support together with the individual, relatives, and other people providing support to the individual. As a support pedagogue, you also have a mentoring role where you support colleagues, contribute to the organization's methodological work, and promote a common holistic perspective with the individual's needs at the center. You identify and map needs, develop work methods, and work to promote the individual's development and well-being. You use, among other things, motivational interviewing (MI) and low-arousal approaches and need to feel confident in handling challenging situations.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nWe are looking for someone with completed post-secondary education as a support pedagogue, or alternatively another post-secondary education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience working within the disability field, for example within LSS or social psychiatry. It is meritorious if you have experience as a support pedagogue and with documentation. You can work day, evening, and weekend shifts according to schedule and are open to receiving delegation.
