It's also important that you can inspire the work team to learn and develop by motivating and engaging them.\nYou are part of a team with support assistants and a unit manager and collaborate with a nurse. Much collaboration also occurs with other professionals and family members. As a support educator, you support our residents in daily life, including providing care, managing medications following delegation, and maintaining social documentation. You are also responsible for the documentation process, method development, and quality improvement at the unit. As a support educator, you maintain ongoing contact and collaboration with other support educators and method developers in the administration.\nThe work schedule includes day, evening, and weekend shifts. As a support educator, you allocate part of your time for educational work. The remaining time is spent providing services in the operation. We use Timecare Planning for activity-adapted and flexible schedules.\nQualifications\nFor the position of support educator, post-secondary specialization in the disability services field is required, comprising at least 200 vocational credits or 60 university credits, or a combination equivalent to at least two full-time semesters of study. The education should have a clear focus on the disability services field in its entirety, or other education that the employer considers equivalent.\nIf you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1, you may be offered a language test through the testing provider Educateit.\nYou need to have work experience working with people who have physical and mental disabilities and be well familiar with AAC (augmentative and alternative communication).\nIt is advantageous if you have previously worked with children and youth with disabilities.
