The Educational Affairs Department also includes employees who work with admissions, degree conferrals, scheduling, and program planning.\nThe overarching goal of the Guidance and Support Unit is to support students on their path to graduation. You will be part of a team of study and career advisors and student counselors who drive and develop the operations based on a shared approach. Within the unit, we also work with LTH's efforts on equal conditions and work environment for students. Our daily work is based heavily on collaboration within the department and with other groups\/operations. You will be active both in Lund and at Campus Helsingborg, which requires the ability to travel between locations. You will participate in various project and process groups with your colleagues while independently managing your work. You will also be part of a program leadership team that is responsible for developing one or more educational programs, where you will contribute your profession-specific expertise. As a study and career advisor, you will guide students through their education, from prospective student to entering the workforce. The work takes place in both Swedish and English.\nExamples of tasks included in the role:\nGuidance of program students both individually and in groups\nCareer guidance\nSystematic monitoring of study results\nWork with preventive measures\nPlan, coordinate, and manage the academic reception of new students\nProvide information on general and program-specific matters\nDevelop individualized recommended study paths\nGuidance on course selection\n\nThe content of the position may develop and change over time as the operations' needs change.\nQualifications\nRequirements for the position are:\nStudy and career guidance degree or other academic education that the employer deems equivalent\nDocumented experience of qualified guidance work with individuals and groups\nGood knowledge and ability to use conversation methods\nVery good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written\nGood ability to deliver information and presentations to large groups in Swedish and English\n\nWe will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
