In this role, you will be part of the Supplier Quality team that is dedicated to implementing a culture and practice of excellence throughout the entire value chain of the organization to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitability in a sustainable way.\nYou will be working with supplier quality and development for HVDC Valve Components, which could be described as the heart of the HVDC station.\nHow you'll make an impact\nDrive quality for assigned suppliers, improving quality performance through quality plan implementation.\nCollaborate with other functions such as SCM, Engineering, R&D, and others.\nSupport new supplier onboarding by ensuring robust execution of the supplier qualification process.\nOwn supplier results as measured by key metrics and identify areas for improvement using supplier scorecards.\nManage supplier nonconformities, including containment actions, corrective actions, and root cause analysis, and periodically analyze historical nonconformities to drive improvement plans.\nPlan, execute, and follow up on surveillance audits to support quality assurance and continuous improvement.\nLead supplier quality reviews to drive continuous improvement.\nSupport the supplier claim management process.\nThe role involves approximately 50% travel, both domestically and internationally, including supplier visits for qualification audits, quality issue resolution, process development, and inspections.\n\nYour background\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering, or equivalent work experience.\n5+ years of experience in quality roles, preferably within a multinational company.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global team environments.\nGreen Belt certification is desirable.\nExperience conducting quality audits.
