The duties include performing oral health assessments and providing oral health education to care and social services staff. The work involves considerable travel, as we meet patients at care and residential facilities as well as in private residences.\n\nAs a dental hygienist in general dentistry, you will primarily work with preventive dentistry, diagnostics, and treatment of caries and periodontitis. You will treat both children and adults.\n\nQualifications\nIn addition to a dental hygienist degree, it is meritorious if you have documented experience in pediatric and adult dentistry and in working in teams and collaborative sessions. You are naturally someone who enjoys working with patients requiring necessary dental care and is willing to take on tasks outside traditional clinical dental hygiene work. You need to be able to speak and teach groups of people fluently.\n\nYou must be fluent in Swedish and express yourself well in speech and writing. We work with digital medical records in Frenda and Symfoni, so you need to have good computer skills.
