With us, you will have a varied and developmental role where technology, service, training, and safety go hand in hand.\nAs part of the fire and rescue service in a smaller municipality, you will have the opportunity to work broadly and contribute to multiple aspects of the operation. You will be an important resource both in daily work and in our long-term development.\nJob Responsibilities\nIn the role of technician, you are responsible for ensuring that our vehicles, machinery, and equipment are maintained at a high standard and are always ready to be used when needed. You will work on, among other things:\nBasic maintenance and monitoring of vehicles, machinery, and equipment.\nPlanning and scheduling inspections, service, and repairs.\nHandling insurance matters and disposal\/procurement of vehicles and equipment.\nAdministration and documentation related to the operation.\nInformation, training, and support to employees and the public.\n\nThe position also includes tasks within the fire and rescue service's accident prevention activities, such as information, advice, and training initiatives.
