The Pattern Generator (PG) division, which you will be part of in this role, holds a unique market position today as the world's leading supplier of laser-based mask writers for the manufacturing of photomasks, which are in turn used in the production of high-resolution displays and microprocessors. Every high-resolution display produced in large volumes that you see, whether it's a TV, mobile phone, tablet, Apple Watch, etc., Mycronic's machines are a critical part of the manufacturing process.\n\nAs a test developer, you are part of the Electronics Design & Architecture (EDA) team, which currently consists of 17 engineers with broad specialist expertise in electronics, firmware and system development. The team develops and manages the electronics platform that forms the heart and brain of all PG products. An important part of the role is to drive development towards a more automated and quality-assured release process and to establish a long-term testing and release strategy together with the development and release organization. Over time, you will naturally own the electronics team's test equipment, automated testing systems and release deliveries.
