A comprehensive assessment of the elderly patient's medical, physical, mental, and social functioning during illness, as well as functional capacity, is performed by a multidisciplinary team, known as Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA). Diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation are conducted with the patient's individual needs in focus. The target population is people 65 years and older with multiple conditions (multimorbidity) combined with the consequences of aging, requiring specialized care and rehabilitation.\n\nThe Geriatric Center brings together several different professions in effective collaboration across and within departments. We focus on subacute general geriatric care and rehabilitation, as well as fast-track care with patient transfers from MAVA and the Infectious Diseases Clinic. We provide psychogeriatric specialized care, treatment, and rehabilitation for people with cognitive diseases and behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD) regardless of age. Additionally, we provide orthogeriatric acute and subacute care and rehabilitation. We also offer outpatient services including a psychogeriatric clinic, an osteoporosis clinic with bone density measurement, and specialist teams working in homes with people suffering from dementia, multimorbidity, and orthopedic conditions.\n\nAs our current Department Manager at General Geriatrics is on parental leave, we are seeking an interim department manager to start by agreement and currently through February 15, 2028.\n\nAs Department Manager at General Geriatrics, you will, together with another Department Manager, lead a team of approximately 70 employees who value close collaboration and responsibility with freedom. It is advantageous if you have worked in a leadership position in an acute operation with 24\/7 staffing and during major change initiatives where you have implemented some form of process work.
