You can substitute in preschool class, as a classroom teacher, as a resource in class, or as a teacher for the higher grades where you teach specific subjects.\n\nAfterschool Programs\nAfterschool program activities take place at each school where the student already attends. The departments are usually divided by age so children can stay with their classmates. Together with other colleagues, you contribute to a stimulating and developmental afterschool program based on children's needs and interests.\n\nAdapted Primary School\nAdapted primary school is an alternative to regular primary school for students who are not expected to meet primary school knowledge requirements due to having an intellectual disability. As a substitute in adapted school operations, you work as support for children and young people with special needs and various types of functional variations. Education is adapted to each student's circumstances.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo work as a substitute teacher in school operations, you need to have a passing upper secondary school diploma, alternatively training in Children and Leisure (Vux) as a childcare worker.
