Would you like the opportunity to combine your studies with meeting visitors at Gothenburg's libraries? Then you might be the person we are looking for!\nWithin the City of Gothenburg, there are 25 public libraries and two bookmobiles that belong to the Culture Administration. We offer a varied selection that is accessible to all ages and target groups. We work with physical and digital media and provide programming activities for, by, and with the people of Gothenburg. Our libraries are well-visited and we have a lot to do, which is why we need to strengthen our team with additional staff. You will become part of a work group consisting of supportive and competent colleagues who together do their best to make our libraries important to all our visitors.\nYou will work at one or more of our libraries and meet visitors from throughout the city. You will participate in regular library work with a focus on meeting our visitors in the library. Visitors who need guidance on how to use various digital tools will receive that help from you. When visitors want help choosing what book to borrow, you will also be there to provide reading recommendations and guidance, or to answer other types of questions. Regular library work includes receiving media, setting up and displaying both books and periodicals.
