You replace regular staff during short-term absences, often on short notice. The role involves being active in learning and social development and participating in outdoor activities, regardless of weather.\n\nIn preschool (ages 1-5), you contribute by:\n\n\t\u2022 Supporting children in play, group activities, and planned activities\n\t\u2022 Assisting with meals, diaper changes, and bathroom visits\n\nIn school (preschool class\u2013grade 9), you contribute by:\n\n\t\u2022 Leading lessons and following the curriculum plan\n\t\u2022 Supporting after-school programs for younger students\n\nWe make each other better by:\n\n\t\u2022 Collaborating and leveraging each other's competencies\n\t\u2022 Creating an inclusive and safe environment\n\t\u2022 Being flexible and solution-focused\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nWorking as a substitute requires the ability to quickly adapt to new environments and create a sense of security for children and students. It requires good collaboration skills, flexibility, and the ability to take responsibility. Being able to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and be attentive in interactions with children, students, and colleagues is essential. To thrive in the role, you need to be present, have a respectful approach, and contribute to a positive learning environment where both teaching and social development are in focus.\n\nThe assignment requires:\n\n\t\u2022 High school diploma with passing grades in Swedish, English, and mathematics or equivalent\n\t\u2022 Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written\n\t\u2022 Availability for work throughout the municipality\n\nWe welcome experience working with or leading children or young people, for example through internships, volunteer work, or previous employment. Pedagogical education and teacher or preschool teacher certification are also assets.
