F 16 is growing and we are now seeking new colleagues who want to be part of our development journey!\n\nAbout the Unit\n\n163rd Garrison Battalion consists of the Logistics Company, Garrison Company, and shortly also the Training Company, which together create the conditions for assigned units to focus on solving their main tasks. The battalion's role and tasks are developing rapidly to meet the new tasks and challenges facing Sweden and the Armed Forces.\n\nThe Garrison Company is responsible for garrison coordination at Uppsala garrison. The company includes the garrison's offices and archives, sports service, military working dog service, operations service including training, specialists in various fields of expertise, administrators, and custodians.\n\nMain Responsibilities\n\nAs a Military Working Dog Officer, you will have overall responsibility for the military working dog service within the garrison and thereby be the coordinating and planning function. This includes registration with relevant authorities related to dogs and animal health to ensure compliance with regulations, guidelines, and governing documents.
