At Central Operating Room, both elective and acute surgeries are performed in the specialties of surgery, orthopedics, and urology. The operation also includes some endoscopic activities. The operating activities also include a sterilization unit that is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and handling medical-technical instruments.\n\nJob Responsibilities\nAs a nursing assistant on the operating team, you are an important part of perioperative care and work in close collaboration with the operating room nurse and anesthesia nurse. You contribute to planning and organizing work around surgical procedures and are responsible, together with the operating room nurse, for ensuring that hygienic and aseptic guidelines are followed.
