IBIC\u2014the individual's needs at the center\u2014is the foundation of our work. All interventions are based on the client's individual needs. As a home care assistant, you will have the responsibility of being a designated care contact. We work with continuity where the goal is for clients to meet their designated care contact as often as possible. The work takes place in and around the client's own home, and your responsibility includes creating conditions for good quality of life and meaningful existence for the clients we serve. Documentation is an important part of the work. Delegated tasks from nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapists are part of the job. Pool shifts are included in the position, which means you will then work at other units within home care.\n\nWe work in five teams within our \u00c5dalen area. You will be part of one of the teams and serve as a designated care contact for one of our clients. Within the team, we collaborate on our clients with the interventions they have been granted by the Assistance Unit.\n\nCommon work tasks with our clients include personal care based on need. Help with meals. We also perform cleaning and laundry for clients who have that need.
