Once your degree has been approved, your training position will convert to a permanent employment as a district nurse with a focus on advanced home care, where you will perform tasks of a more qualified nature where specialist competence is deemed necessary for good and safe patient care. You perform independent assessments, plan and coordinate care services, and carry out advanced nursing care and medical treatments in close collaboration with the patient, relatives, and other professionals. The goal is to create safe, secure, and cohesive home care.\n\nAbout You\nTo be eligible for the training position, you need to:\n\u2022 Be a licensed nurse\n\u2022 Have been admitted to the specialist training program for spring 2027\n\u2022 Not have previously received study allowance\/paid specialist\/further training from Region \u00d6sterg\u00f6tland\n\nWe would appreciate it if you have worked several years as a nurse. You do not need to be employed by Region \u00d6sterg\u00f6tland when you apply for a training position as a nurse.\n\nWe are looking for you who works well with other people and takes responsibility for your work tasks.
