The work involves investigating children and youth ages 0-20 and their families, as well as following up on approved interventions, such as open care, contact person\/family support, or residential care placements. The work is conducted in close collaboration with the unit's other investigation teams, our intake group, and our safety team that works with children near placements.\nAs an investigating social worker in child and youth services, you will have an important and complex assignment, but you don't have to carry it alone. Previous experience working with children and youth and exercising government authority is a merit. Experience with the Partnering for Safety \/ Signs of Safety work model is a great plus.
