The unit is continuously undergoing changes aimed at successfully managing complex investigative cases.\n\nThe team and operations are currently located at the Coordination Section but may be transferred to another section in the near future.\n\n3 position(s).\n\nDUTIES\nAs an investigator in the preparatory team at the Coordination Section, you will work on criminal investigations involving economic crimes, such as money laundering and various types of fraud. We are seeking\/targeting investigators with experience in basic investigations who are now interested in taking the next step.\n\nSome of your duties will include the following:\n\u2022 Initiate preliminary investigative measures in various criminal cases; you work independently under the direction of the investigation leader.\n\u2022 Conduct interviews with witnesses and complainants; contact with suspects may occur.\n\u2022 Create decision-making material by evaluating information from multiple sources, gathering specific facts, weighing and determining the significance of information, drawing conclusions, assessing relationships between variables, and summarizing information into a logical whole as well as presenting cases for the investigation leader.\n\u2022 Maintain contact with actors both internally and externally and work both independently and with others.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nThis is an opportunity for you if you have:\n\u2022 Education in economics, criminology, behavioral science, or other education, or alternatively work experience that the employer deems relevant.\n\u2022 At least 6 months of experience in investigative work or other equivalent competence that the employer deems relevant.\n\u2022 Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.\n\u2022 Good knowledge of the Office suite.\n\nIt is meritorious if you also have:\n\u2022 Experience in investigative work from public sector or financial operations that the employer deems relevant.\n\u2022 Experience conducting interviews\/conversations with various parties in an investigation.\n\u2022 Good ability to express yourself well in English, both orally and in writing.\n\u2022 Class B driver's license.\n\nPersonal qualities\nThe position as an investigator places high demands on you to be self-directed. You take responsibility for your task and structure your approach independently. You drive processes forward in collaboration with your immediate group manager and investigation leader. Work can be very intense at times, which requires you to be flexible with the ability to quickly adapt to changed conditions and reprioritize your tasks. As an investigator, it is important that you are stable and controlled in stressful situations. You should be able to work both independently and in a group, which requires good collaboration skills. Since the work involves extensive contact both internally and externally, you should have strong communication skills both verbally and in writing. You have a strong commitment and engage in employee-driven improvement work.
