Together with controllers, real estate strategists, development managers, property managers, construction project managers, and sports operations staff, you'll drive the municipality's long-term facility development.\n\nAs development manager, you're responsible for ensuring our facilities develop in a sustainable, efficient, and fiscally responsible manner. The role combines strategic development work with project management, coordination, and follow-up.\n\nThe role includes:\n\n- Responsibility for long-term development of the municipality's sports and recreation facilities\n- Developing and monitoring maintenance and investment plans\n- Driving development, renovation, and reinvestment projects\n- Conducting financial analyses and preparing decision-making materials\n- Coordinating issues related to facilities provision, sustainability, and energy efficiency\n- Collaborating with operations, associations, and external stakeholders\n- Preparing matters and presenting materials to the Leisure Committee\n\nIs This You?\n\nWe're looking for someone who is driven to develop operations, properties, and facilities with a focus on quality, sustainability, and long-term value.\n\nYou are analytical, structured, and able to translate ideas and needs into concrete actions. At the same time, you're a skilled collaborative partner who builds trust and creates good relationships with many different stakeholders.\n\nWe believe you:\n\n- Are independent and take initiative\n- Are analytical with good financial understanding\n- Are development-oriented and solutions-focused\n- Are communicative and pedagogical\n- Are structured and experienced in managing multiple processes in parallel\n\nYour Experience\n\n- Several years of experience working with sports facilities, real estate, or other public facilities\n- Knowledge of ice rink operations and development needs\n- Experience with maintenance and investment planning\n- Experience with project management and development work\n- Strong ability to conduct operations and financial analyses\n- Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing\n\nMerits\n\n- Experience working in a politically governed organization\n- Experience with municipal property management\n- Knowledge of energy, environmental, and sustainability issues\n- Experience with procurements and contract matters\n\nWe Offer\n\nAt the Culture and Leisure Unit, you'll receive a meaningful assignment.
