We offer professional development, wellness benefits, and flexible vacation arrangements.\nRead more here about the City of Stockholm's employee benefits.\nYour role\nAs a preparedness and security coordinator at the Service Administration, you are responsible for coordinating, developing, and following up on the administration's own security and preparedness work, as well as the city-wide aspects of preparedness work in which the administration participates. This is work with a high pace of change, and you will be part of Stockholm's increased capacity to handle serious situations.\nThe role also includes coordinating the administration's security and safety work, which includes work with personal security, undue influence, and welfare crimes.\nYou will be an important player in translating activities and directives from our stakeholders into implementable plans. The role requires you to switch between operational and strategic work, short-term and long-term \u2013 always with the goal of building robustness in the municipal organization.\nIn this role, you will, among other things:\nCoordinate and develop the Service Administration's work on civil preparedness and crisis readiness.\nProject lead the Service Administration's assignment related to the city's central emergency supply storage (CBL).\nDrive development projects.\nCoordinate the Service Administration's participation in the City of Stockholm's sector organization for civil preparedness and other preparedness work.\nParticipate in various sectors within the sector organization for civil preparedness as needed.\nManage the Service Administration's contacts with the City Executive Office's security department.\nParticipate in developing the city's total defense planning by representing the Service Administration in joint sector cooperation groups.\nPlan, implement, and evaluate training and exercises.\nCoordinate work with policy documents and procedures in the field.\nParticipate in the Service Administration's crisis management organization.\nParticipate in developing the Service Administration's continuity management and capacity to maintain societal-critical operations.\nMonitor developments in the field and translate new requirements and conditions into local operations.\n\nYour competence and experience\nWe are looking for someone who has:\nRelevant education for the position, from a university or college, for example in security, crisis management, social science, or other areas that the employer deems equivalent\nworked in a relevant role with a focus on preparedness and crisis management, for example as an investigator, strategist, or security or preparedness coordinator\nexcellent ability to communicate in both speech and writing\nSwedish citizenship\n\nIt is meritorious if you have experience with:\nexperience working with preparedness and\/or civil defense matters within municipal operations\nknowledge of the City of Stockholm's organization and conditions\ntrained personnel in security and\/or preparedness-related matters\n\nPersonal skills and competencies\nSince the work involves coordinating many different actors, it is important that you are relationship-building and have pedagogical ability to convey serious messages in a trustworthy way, and you are comfortable communicating even when the message is important or difficult.
