We welcome your application!\nAbout the Job\nAs a Valve Technician, you become part of one of our operational groups within mechanical maintenance. Together, we are responsible for ensuring that important components in the facility function safely, efficiently, and reliably.\nThe work is varied and combines practical maintenance with troubleshooting, problem-solving, and development of work methods. You will gradually build up your expertise in valve technology while learning more about Forsmark's facility and its processes.\nYou work closely with other technicians, maintenance engineers, and operations personnel. Knowledge sharing and collaboration are a natural part of everyday work and you have the opportunity to learn from colleagues with extensive experience in the field.\nThe role includes, among other things:\nPerforming preventive and corrective maintenance on valves\nConducting troubleshooting and problem-solving\nPlanning and preparing upcoming work\nPerforming tightness testing and functional checks\nContributing to the development of methods, work procedures, and the work area\nParticipating in mechanical work in connection with overhaul shutdowns\n\nUnconventional working hours occur mainly during the overhaul periods.\n\n\nRequirements Specification\nWe are looking for someone who has a technical or mechanical interest and wants to continue developing with us. You do not need to have previous experience with valve technology.
