As our new CEO, you will lead the transition from an entrepreneur-driven small company to a more professionally managed industrial company, without losing the drive that has brought us here.\nAs our new CEO, your first task is to increase profitability in today's business while building a Timars that can grow further in the long term.\nMore specifically, it involves:\nGetting the entire business to work together\nAt Timars we normally run several different projects in parallel, from smaller customer jobs to large manufacturing projects. Now we need to create a clearer and more unified way to keep the entire chain together: From quotation and preliminary calculation to planning, procurement, production, delivery and follow-up, so that we know in detail what our projects cost, how they're progressing and what we earn from them.\nBuilding the organization for the next step\nWe are currently refining roles and responsibilities to build an organization that can support a larger business. With one foot in production and one in the market, you are used to building organizations where structure and business develop hand in hand. To succeed and thrive with us, you are:\nCEO from manufacturing industry\nYou have been a CEO before and come from a manufacturing company. You are used to a broad role with responsibility for the entire operation and understand the chain from customer and sales to project, procurement and production. Experience from a smaller company where you yourself needed to be closely involved in several parts of the business is particularly relevant.\nBusiness-minded with a handle on the numbers\nGood financial understanding allows you to manage the business based on profitability, not just revenue. You are used to working with results, budgets, calculations and follow-up and at the same time have a clear customer and market perspective. You can assess which deals, customers and markets are worth investing effort in.\nExperienced in building structure from the ground up\nYou have yourself developed working methods and processes in a smaller organization where everything wasn't already in place. For you, structure is about making work easier and clearer\u2014not creating more layers. New working methods need to function in daily operations, and you stay with them until they do.\nClear and supportive\nClear goals, responsibilities and mandates are a natural part of your leadership. You ensure that people know what is expected of them and follow up to ensure that what you have decided actually gets done. At the same time, you give people support and space to grow into their responsibilities and develop their parts of the organization.\nListen and communicate as a leader\nYou communicate straight without losing warmth and always listen before making decisions. Then you explain why something needs to be done and bring people with you even when the direction is new.
