Open care is facing an exciting development where interventions are shaped in close collaboration with other important actors in the field with the aim of constantly developing and adapting to the needs we encounter in children and young people to provide the best possible support.\nYour Assignment\nStigen is a highly valued operation that has existed in Haninge Municipality since 2012 and is known for its flexible approach and its remarkable ability to meet young people according to their individual needs. We who work at Stigen meet young people between 11-17 years old who have been granted the rePULSE or youth treatment specialist interventions through social services. The interventions may be based on their own behavior, social vulnerability such as problematic school attendance, mental health issues, or honor-related oppression.\nThe purpose of the rePULSE intervention is to provide support and tools through structured individual counseling contact to manage poor impulse control, or alternatively excessive control, and develop social skills.\nThe youth treatment specialist intervention consists of individually tailored intensive support for young people with complex issues. The goal is to build the intervention around the young person's needs and by utilizing resources within the young person themselves and their surrounding network, establishing a functioning daily life with meaningful activities and good physical and mental health. As a youth treatment specialist, you will accompany young people on what is often a challenging journey where it is crucial that you are confident in yourself, that you have an easy time making connections and building trust, and that you are not afraid of difficult conversations.
