The department has 28 beds divided into four teams with seven patients on each team, where all patients have their own room including bathroom. The environment is fresh and easy to work in. The department focuses on broad orthopedic and surgical care, both acute and planned. We care for patients with acute conditions following trauma, accidents, and illness. Patients with infections and pain issues are also cared for in the department.\nMonday through Friday, one of our teams is dedicated to elective orthopedic patients who have received new shoulder, knee, or hip prostheses.\nOur goal is to continuously develop and improve our operations and to constantly strive to become even better when it comes to patient safety, patient satisfaction, and work environment.\nWe value having a good work climate, a safe environment, and close collaboration during both good and challenging times.
