With us, you get to create security, participation, and development for people with disabilities or mental health challenges. We're looking for someone who thrives in a varied daily routine, where communication, structure, and commitment are central.\n\nAs a support assistant, you work with providing educational, social, and practical support to people with disabilities in their everyday life. The goal is to strengthen the individual's independence, quality of life, and participation in society.\n\nThe role includes, among other things:\n\n- Supporting the individual in daily life according to the implementation plan\n\n- Motivating and creating structure around activities, health, and social interaction\n\n- Collaborating with family members, colleagues, and other actors\n\n- Documenting services in digital systems according to current procedures\n\n- Working with a low-affect approach and with the individual's needs in focus\n\nYou may work within both disability support (according to LSS) and social psychiatry (according to SoL), in facilities such as group homes, service housing, or supported housing. In all activities, the purpose is to promote independence, health, and participation based on the individual's needs. Work is scheduled during daytime, evenings, and weekends, depending on the needs of the activity.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nYou who are applying have a genuine interest in working with people and a good ability to build trust and develop relationships. You are confident, attentive, and have the ability to adapt your communication style to different individuals' needs and conditions.\n\nWe also see that you have:\n\n- Upper secondary education in care and support, children and leisure, or equivalent education that the employer considers equivalent, such as a 2-year folk high school education as a support assistant at upper secondary level.\n\n- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing\n\nCategory B driver's license may be required depending on the activity.\n\nExperience of work within social psychiatry or disability support is meritorious.\n\nWith us, you work in an activity where every day counts and where you make a difference in someone else's life.
