We are now recruiting an alcohol handler for a substitute position where you will be a central part of the municipality's work with serving permits and supervision within the restaurant and tobacco industry.\n\nAbout the position\nAs an alcohol handler, you are responsible for the entire process concerning applications for serving permits. You become an important contact person for entrepreneurs and business owners \u2013 from the first conversation and throughout the investigation process until a decision is made by the care board.\n\nYou will, among other things:\nhave contact and meetings with people who are applying for serving permits\ninform about the process and what requirements apply\ncollect, review and analyze documents and materials\nassess companies' financial conditions and the applicants' personal conduct and suitability\nobtain and compile responses from, among others, the Swedish Tax Agency, the Swedish Companies Registration Office, the Enforcement Service and the Police Authority\nprepare decision materials and write statements for the care board's decision\nmaintain ongoing contact with other authorities and actors\nconduct supervision visits to existing permit holders and within retail trade of tobacco and low-alcohol beer.\n\nSupervision visits are conducted both during daytime and evening\/nighttime and always together with other colleagues.\nAn important part of the role is also to keep yourself updated on current legislation and case law regarding the serving of alcohol and retail trade of tobacco and low-alcohol beer.\n\nQualifications\nWe are looking for someone who has:\nhigher education in, for example, economics, law or social work, or alternatively another educational background that the employer considers equivalent\ngood computer skills\ngood ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing\nB driving license\n\nIt is meritorious if you have:\nknowledge of alcohol legislation\nknowledge or education in business economics\nexperience of municipal decision-making processes and authority\nexperience of qualified investigation or case handling work.\n\nWho are you?\nTo thrive and succeed in this role, you need to be secure, stable and professional.
