We are looking for a substitute recreation leader for the school's caf\u00e9 and break activities at Vasaskolan.\n\nThe assignment includes planning for and implementing activities for our students in grades 7-9 during their free time. Our goal is to have adult-led activities several times a week that invite participation. You are also important in maintaining good safety and well-being in our shared spaces as well as enforcing our school rules; among other things in the form of collecting phones and participating in returning them each day.\n\nYou are an important carrier of our safety work and in promoting a safe climate at the school.\n\nYou collaborate with another recreation leader as well as the rest of the team with student assistants. Your workplace is based at the school caf\u00e9 but the entire school is your area of responsibility.\r\n\r\nQUALIFICATIONS\r\nAt least upper secondary school diploma, preferably with a focus on Children and Recreation.\n\nQualifying to have a social pedagogy education, recreation leader education, or equivalent.\n\nExperience working with youth ages 13-16 is qualifying.\r\n\r\nType of Employment: Fixed-term employment.\r\nDuration: 3-6 months, start date: 2026-08-24.\r\n\r\nTo begin working in preschool, school, after-school care and other pedagogical activities, you are required to present a certificate from the criminal record register.
