As a residential support worker, you are an important part of the participants' daily lives. You provide supervision and support based on each individual's needs, work in an outreach and motivational manner, and support them on the path toward greater independence. At the same time, you help reduce the harms of substance abuse and mental health issues. You are there in the daily activities, provide guidance, and ensure that the residential rules are followed for everyone's safety. The work is based on each individual's implementation plan and involves close collaboration with colleagues and external partners. Documentation is a natural part of your work, and you work in a structured manner to ensure quality and compliance with procedures.
